OPM chapters 18 and 19 (19 and 20)

Well... It's been a while, hasn't it? You probably expected me to release the bonus chapter of Molester Man first, but I've been too busy with university stuff and that bonus chapter needs like twice the amount of work as other chapters. But don't worry, I'm working on it. Since OPM is really easy to translate and people wanted me to continue it because they weren't happy with the other scanlation, I've decided to catch up to OPM first. So here are chapters 19 and 20. They're actually chapters 18 and 19 though as what was chapter 18 was actually just a continuation of chapter 17. Let's stick to Murata's chapter numbering.

If you've read these chapters already, move on, there's nothing to see here unless you want to compare different translations. I'm taking it nice and slow, so please stick with me. As always, I recommend reading the translated version and after that the RAWs to appreciate dat art. Have fun.

Oh right, one more thing. I'd love to translate that bonus one-shot chapter of OPM too, but it'll get pretty messy with my non-existant cleaning skills. If there's anyone who has time and is better at cleaning than me (which isn't hard), please give it a shot. I'd be very thankful. The RAWs are up in the RAWs folder in my mediafire.

  4. Yay! I haven't read these chapters since I was waiting for your version! I knew that those other translations were probably shi... I mean poorly done so I kept away since the series deserves more respect than that.

    Take your time with all that stuff. I'll wait for your releases as long as you don't officially announce you're dropping a series.

  6. This is a most excellent turn of events. I was under the impression you'd dropped OPM for good. I'm glad that enough like-minded people found the other translations... not quite up to par. It's too bad I read the chapters already, but I'll still flip through your releases.
    Wish I could help with the cleaning, but several reasons keep me from doing so (mostly laziness and my pirated copy of Photoshop CS5 is on the fritz). Above all, cleaning makes me want to savagely kill somebody and decorate my house with their innards.
    Thanks for the chapters and good luck with college! Still hoping for somebody to sub the Molester Man movie... :p

  11. Hey TF, thank you so much for translating chapter 18 and 19. Btw there is one page missing on chapter 18. There is a 4-koma at the end of the original raw of chapter 18 http://tonarinoyj.jp/manga/onepanman/19/ which explains why there is a walking crow on chapter 18 page 7.

    1. Huh... That's interesting. I had grabbed the RAWs around the time chapter 18 came out and that page wasn't there. I guess it was added later on. I should've double-checked. Let me translate the page real quick. Thanks for the hint.

  15. Welcome back, dude. Glad to see some high quality translations in place for some amazingly entertaining manga.

    Though, I gotta say, I missed your translations. I've read the next chapter, scanlated by someone else, and it just didn't feel the same. You are planning on doing these already-translated-by-other-groups scanlations, right?

    Also, any plans on translating the original Onepunch-Man?

    2. No, actually, Boon provides the raws, we just made the cleaning for chapters 19-20. But thanks for letting me know of the side stories, if Boon translates those, we'll probably also help with the cleaning.

    7. It seems like we already had the side stories but didn't actually work on them. Our main editor is going to do a few things remaining for the Scanlation and then he'll do the side stories. I'll send them to you when they're ready, Boon.

      Chapter 13 introduced King and they removed the awesome key frame animation from Chapter 15 and replace it with two pages that resemble the original OPM version.

    12. There are no whole RAW for OPM. You can search the whole web, KAD, Share, IRC, etc, like I did for weeks. Those side stories are freshly scanned and I haven't scanned and most likely will not scan the whole book. Apart from those few pages on chapter 4,13 and 15 they are literally identical. Besides, the web version raw that TF share in his media folder is a cleaner and better version.

  21. Thanks for the chapters, I like more your version than any other.
    I was wondering if you have any idea if Dangan Tenshi Fanclub has some kind of relation with One-Punch Man (aside from the artist of course) and if you have any interest in translate it, since no matter how hard I tried to find it there is not translation to be seen yet.
    This is my first comment. I came here around Molester Man c12. You did an awesome job there... and FAST. I am used to the LONG waits since I have no other choice, but your really made my day more than once.
    I had the time to read all your other works, and let me tell you that you did and awesome job with them too. I was really happy to read more works of YOKO. It was and awesome surprise.
    I hope I can see more of your works in the future.

  23. Glad to see you translating again. That other group were real dirty with the way they started pushing out their badly translated versions. Most of /a/ and I imagine a lot of others are waiting for your work. Please keep it up.

  25. Normally i would say it is a good idea to rename the chapter number to the origanal from ONE, but in the the last two chapters from the webmanga by murata he did an original story, thus the numbering is screwed up either way, so i say it would be best to keep the chapter number to the one from murata from the webmagazine

  26. Is it just me, or does the mediafire for what is currently chapter 18 contain pages of what is currently chapter 17-2?

    In other words, chapter 18's mediafire appears to have some misplaced pages.

  27. Boon thank you so much for not dropping this series; the other guys are just Zero Wing level incoherent. I mean I seriously suspect they don't speak English OR Japanese at all and are just copy-pasting whatever drops out of Google Translate unedited, it's excruciating.
