OPM Tankobon 01 Extra Chapter

Hey, guys. Here's the extra chapter that was included in the first tankobon release of OPM. I really like this chapter for some reason, maybe it's because we see a different side to Saitama. Thanks to the guy who provided the high-res scans for this, they're in the mediafire folder now. The extra chapter from the second tankobon release and the special chapter from YJ with the psychic sisters will follow in the near future.

Btw, the first chapter of OPM was released over at Weekly Shonen Jump today. The translators are professionals and they said they'll catch up to OPM by the end of the year. By the time they've caught up with the Japanese releases, I will quit translating it. They even promised to release the chapters at the same time as in Japan and I'm sure people will upload their version, in fact, I already saw their new release already up, so my version won't be needed by then. But well, we still got a long year ahead of us. Let's enjoy the ride and hope I don't get shot down by them before that. So if this blog suddenly gets closed, you know what happened. lol

    1. Yeah and you have to pay for it. Still, people upload it as soon as it's out. You'll get OPM even earlier than now and with a better translation. You won't lose out on anything.

  5. Awesome, thanks again! But yeah, WSJ america is only available there and maybe I'm wrong, but they might be hard on uploaders... I hope it all goes well and we even see it printed properly (I can simply import them from japan if not, but it's nice to see good series get attention)

    But, as an European reader not able to get SJA I hope you'll eventually change your mind, or that someone will pirate those, even with such a great risk to get axed.

  9. Yeah, i'm from Europe too, so SJA is not an option for me.
    But even if others upload their own version on online readers, i will miss downloading them in HQ like yours, because this is one of the very very rare manga that are worth downloading.
    I would buy the manga, but it will probably take another 5 years before this appears in germanys shops.

Oh, now I understand why people are so freaked out over the fact that OPM is being serialized in a mag, It could actually mean not getting any new material, since most people won't dare uploading SJAs material. There is also the fact that the paperback version blows donkey cocks compared to the digital release, that likely won't get translated anymore (have you guys seen how they handled the sonic scene in the tankobon version?)
    Anyway, thanks for all your work.

  14. you're simply great. you made my winter with MM and you have a great taste for picking manga. I sure hope that when you drop OPM you will grab another great piece because i've never seen someone do it as fast as you while not even really wanting fame for it. respect man!
